As young professionals who've experienced the challenges of modern dating firsthand, we created Double Upp with a clear mission: to make dating safer, more comfortable, and genuinely enjoyable. We noticed how many of our friends felt anxious about meeting strangers one-on-one, and we realized there had to be a better way.

We built Double Upp after hearing countless stories from friends about awkward first dates and uncomfortable situations. The best dates we'd been on had one thing in common: they felt natural, like hanging out with friends. That's when it clicked – why force people into high-pressure one-on-one situations when double dates create the perfect balance of safety, fun, and authentic connection?
